Valleys deep, mountains high (in Explore 13-02-2025)

Although the Himalayas are impressive I not often caught the grandeur of those mountains in my images.

Standing there in real you can feel overwhelmed by them, but many times in pictures the dimensions were less spectacular than how I experienced them.

But this picture comes close. If you look into the image you can see a few people walking around, a few cars parked, and one car going up the road towards Muktinath.

I took this shot on the same day as www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/54099679874/in/datepo..., when there was a big Hindu festival in the valley.
