British Railways - D2130 - a photo on Flickriver

            Running light engine through Derby Station is D2130. The signal box in the background is Engine Sidings No.2. This was a Midland Railway Type 2A design and built in 1890. The shunter was built at Swindon Works in January 1960 and was based at a number of Western Region MPD's before being transferred to 16C Derby in June 1967. It was withdrawn in July 1972 and cut up at C.F.Booth in March 1973. Photograph taken in the summer 1970.
