St. Benedict's Catholic Church - a photo on Flickriver

            St. Benedict's Catholic Church is located near Honaunau on the Big Island of Hawaii.

It was built between 1899-1902 under the direction of the Belgian Catholic missionary Father John Velghe, who then painted frescoes along the interior ceiling and walls.  The frescoes depict various biblical scenes.

As a result, it is also called The Painted Church.
