Rear of the Misa Mausoleum - a photo on Flickriver

            This is a small but elaborately detailed Gothic Revival chapel. It has a steeply pitched roof with fish-scale tiles and metal cresting, stained glass windows in the side and rear walls (although some of the windows are damaged, the one at the back, depicting the Crucifixion, is still intact) and a tiled path, enclosed by fine iron railings, leading up to the entrance.

Marques Don Manuel de Misa Y Bertemati, Count of Bayona (1815-1904) was a wealthy sherry merchant of 41-42 Crutched Friars (he left more than half a million pounds in his will, a huge sum in those days).
