Stift Seitenstetten - a photo on Flickriver

            Das Stift Seitenstetten bekam seine heutige barocke Form in den Jahren 1718-1747. Die Stiftskirche im Zentrum der Klosteranlage ist eine frühgotische dreischiffige Basilika mit Kreuzrippengewölbe aus der Zeit um 1300. Sie erhielt etwa 1670 –1706 eine barocke Inneneinrichtung (Altäre, Kanzel, Deckengemälde, Stuck).

Seitenstetten Abbey acquired its present Baroque form between 1718 and 1747. The abbey church at the center of the monastery complex is an early Gothic three-aisled basilica with cross-ribbed vaulting dating from around 1300. It received Baroque interior furnishings (altars, pulpit, ceiling paintings, stucco) between 1670 and 1706.
