Rashad, Diaa's Herald - a photo on Flickriver

            Unlike any other citizen of the region of earth, Rashad has a mysterious obsession with light. This disposition led him to often shirk his duties as an crystal harvester and to instead venture to the surface to muse in the sunlight. Rashad was ostracized by the other villagers for his apparent laziness and unusual discomfort in the region's caves. Rashad was banished from the region of earth when he attacked a fellow harvester for mocking him. Rashad, in turn, began wandering Okoto, carrying only a harvesting blade, in search of light and power as a means of vengeance. But from where would this power come? Does the light that calls Rashad hold darkness within?
