Hedgehog Fungus - a photo on Flickriver

I saw my first Hedgehog Fungi at the site three years ago ... and they were growing in exactly the same spot. 

The creamy caps of HF have a salmon-pink flush about them and their undersides bear spines rather than gills or pores. They don't seem to grow very high, so it was convenient to find this one on a raised bank, which allowed a view of the cap's underside. Fragments of soil debris had attached themselves to some of the spines and there were signs of slug damage ... I'm showing it 'as seen' in this record shot.
