Hibiscus bud

            The origin of the hibiscus is uncertain, with records of the first appearances in East Africa and Asia.
When it arrived in Europe, its success was not immediate, but the flavor, aromatic complexity and beneficial properties of the plant won fans on the continent some time later. In Brazil, since it arrived at the hands of slaves, its consumption has become increasingly popular.
In addition to the usual name of hibiscus, the plant, which is found in tropical and subtropical regions around the world as it adapts better to warmer places, can also be identified with other different names.
