1926 First Pine plantation for Sapfor (now Auspine) formed
1928–1947 Telephone, store & hall, post office, first mill, shops & forestry workers houses, Sport Club established at North end of town
1941–1960 South end of town developed, ‘Pines Hotel’ & road houses opened, town hall, Church of Christ built
1960 Electricity arrived
1961 First town fire truck
1966–1967 Football Club built and oval used
1972 Current Auspine Office Complex opened
1973 Reticulated water system introduced
1983 Ash Wednesday Bushfire claims 24 buildings and one life
1983 Current school constructed
1985 Bicycle Track
1987 Common effluent system installed
1993 Playground area established
2000 Olympic Torch Relay came through
2002 Murals painted
2003 Rural Transaction Centre opened
2004 Auspine employed 600 people, exported 616,000 tonnes of woodchip, converted 500,00 cubic metres of sawlog into building products.
In the Green Triangle area there are 150,000 hectare of pine plantations growing 10,000 tonnes of wood each day.
