Eggesford First Signal Box 28/06/1965

             Opened on 1st October 1874 and remained in use until 21st November 1967 when part of the platform which supported the box collapsed into the mill leat below.
It was later replaced by a plywood wonder box which opened 0n 28th September 1969.
