Union Pacific Westbound Office Car Special UP 2760 9020 Kansas City KS

            It's a warm and steamy afternoon but we're coping with the heat and humidity as a westbound Union Pacific Office Car Special glides around the sweeping curve approaching the Mill Street overpass at the east end of UP's Armourdale Yard in Kansas City, KS. September 8, 2017

Embarking on a tour of western states for on board UP officials, the train is led by two spotless new locomotives- ES44AC 2760, (built in December, 2016) and SD70ACe 9020, (built April, 2016). Once clear of the west end of the yard, speed will increase and the sprint will begin down the Kansas Subdivision to Topeka and points west.
