Originally Martin Siering and I planned on photographing foraging white storks, but they where a little shy. After a few hours, we decided that we tried hard enough and switched to landscape photography. Since there was a storm about to roll in, we packed our stuff and went to the nearest sunflower field. We where in luck, because not only was the field at it´s blooming peak, but the heads of the flowers also looked into the right direction. On some of the flowers butterflies, bees and birds where feeding. Shortly after we had the shot that we wanted, the storm poured down on us with strong winds and hail on top!

Eigentlich waren @masigraphy und ich im Spreewald um Störche beim fressen zu fotografieren. Da diese sich aber zierten haben wir fix auf Landschaftsfotografie umgesattelt. Da wir wussten, dass ein Gewitter im anmarsch ist, suchten wir uns ein in prächtiger Blühte stehende Sonnenblumenfeld aus, um das Gewitter richtig in Szene zu setzen. Die Köpfe der Sonnenblumen standen genau in die richtige Richtung. Auf einigen Blumenköpfen saßen Bienen und Schmetterlinge, auf anderen wieder etliche Vögel (ich glaube es waren Finken, oder Zeisige). Für dieses Foto haben wir uns ordentlich von oben begießen lassen. Sturm und Hagel prasselten auf uns nieder, als wir gerade die Bilder im Kasten hatten.
