Giving Back (and Taking From) - a photo on Flickriver

            A Great Place To Find What You Need!

Now you may be wondering just how I was able to get that map. I'll be honest – there aren't that many security cameras in sporting goods, and the checkouts were too busy for anyone to notice me walking out with it. Don't get me wrong, I didn't want to steal it – I was super-nervous but at the same time remembered advice I've read on Flickr about endangered items where sometimes things will just disappear and you'll miss your opportunity. Besides, I had politely asked an attendant once before if I could have the directory in the boys' section – she wasn't so polite in her response, so I suppose this is my “revenge” of sorts! I'm glad this came from another section though – I wouldn't have taken it from the boys' section, where it was and remains the only directory present. But if you're interested in owning a Horn Lake Target relic, just discreetly peek under any newer-style directory around the store for a piece of the past!

I'm also justifying my “acquiring” of the map by what is on the back of it, pictured here. All this self-promotion and such makes me think these were meant to be given out at one point in time – so I just took them up on the offer, several years later!
