WEEK 39 – “Stateline Square” Former Super Kmart

Ah, Burlington. The staple of former Staples... well, whatever big-box retail may be sitting empty in an area, anyway! In Southaven's case, Burlington became one of the, if not the absolute, first inhabitant(s) of this newly monikered Stateline Square Shopping Center upon the vacation – permanent vacation – of its previous, obvious tenant, Super Kmart Center. COOLCAT433 posted pictures of a Walmart-turned-Burlington in Plainfield, IN, just the other day, and linked in the comments of one photo to a very interesting, and very truthful, article on the strange stability and success of this chain... I recommend giving it a read.
