SET 1 – Cordova Spirit Halloween (former Gordmans)

Here’s a close-up of the storefront, with a large Spirit logo complete with the chain’s skeleton mascot. You’ll note that this Gordmans is essentially identical to the one we've seen (on so many occasions!) in Southaven; they likely opened fairly close, timewise, to one another, although I do think this one was the later of the two. Like Southaven, the Cordova Gordmans closed with the rest of the chain in 2017, except where Southaven’s story picked up again after the Stage rescue, Cordova had already reached the end of the line. The store has continued to sit vacant since that time; 2020 was Spirit’s first year occupying the space (more on that later).
