Kincardine on Forth Bridge looking to the Fife shore.

The swing bridge was erected by the county councils of Fife, Clackmannan and Stirling with assistance from the burghs of Dunfermline and Falkirk and opened 29 October 1936. Today the road is the A985 - it was the first road bridge below Stirling. The bridge was Category A listed in 2005 but last opened for a ship in 1988. The nearby Clackmannanshire Bridge opened in 2008.
