Lothian 1084 and McGill’s Scotland East 2904 at east end of Princes Street, Edinburgh.

            Lothian’s 1084 (a Volvo B8L/Enviro 400XLB) on route 31 was captured alongside Bright Bus 2904, coincidentally an ex-Lothian vehicle having been acquired from Edinburgh Bus Tours in 2023. In the background on the corner of West Register Street is the former Woolworths building (erected 1926, extended west in 1955). Woolworths closed this branch in 1984. Now completely rebuilt, with an extra floor added, it is occupied by Motel One, the Apple Store and other retailers.
