Branded bus off route at Holyrood Road, Edinburgh.

            This 2012 Alexander Dennis Enviro 300 branded for the Bright Bus Airport Express service to Edinburgh Airport is instead being used on a tendered local service in Edinburgh city centre. The bus is operating on the Midland Bluebird route 60 from Holyrood to Haymarket via Nicolson Square, Lauriston Place and Tollcross. The vehicle, now 8486 in the current fleet, came into the McGill’s group fold in 2022 with the purchase of First Scotland East. The Bright Bus brand had previously been launched by First in 2019 for their new Edinburgh open top bus tour. 8486 is seen in front of the tall office building, The Tun (completed 2002) and home to a number of businesses including BBC Scotland.
