            WL872 is a 1955 DH.112 Venom NF2 of the RAF 219 Sqn 1955 to 1957.

A photo from my late fathers collection.
He was a fighter pilot in the RAF and flew the night fighter version of the Venom, the NF2 from RAF Driffield in 1955/57 with 219 squadron up to when the squadron was disbanded. 
It may be him flying 872.

WL872 was delivered to the RAF on 25Jan55. 
Sold as scrap at 27MU Shawbury on 18Feb59.
