Harmonious Splendor - a photo on Flickriver

            I took this picture on my birthday! A low angle view from Tateishi Park, a small beach park along the coast of the Miura Peninsula, Japan. The iconic stone in the water, and the majestic tree on the coast give a powerful, yet calm feeling to this place. Mt. Fuji is also visible in the distance, however the weather on this particular day was a bit hazy on the horizon, so was only barely visible as the sun dipped down behind it.

I used a 10-stop ND filter by Kenko, and retouched in Lightroom. No photoshop for this one.
