            Since I’m in a reminiscing mood this is another photo taken in Bulgaria a couple of years after the fall of the communist regime.  This was our first holiday abroad together so has a special place in my heart, but sadly somewhere I will never return to since the Sozopol I knew then no longer exists. Previous photos in my Sozopol album explain why, and the photo after this is another example.

OK, historic Sozopol still exists but the ‘new’ town had its own charm, unspoilt by mass tourism [we stayed with a Bulgarian family].
