Les sables d'Olonne - a photo on Flickriver

            Un musée à ciel ouvert

Cette sablaise n'avait qu'un seul objectif redonner vie à son quartier d'enfance. Situé à quelques mètres du remblai des Sables d'Olonne, elle a voulu apporter sa touche artistique et commença à créer en 1997 des fresques de coquillage sur les murs avec l'accord des propriétaires et de la Mairie. Et ils ont eu raison de faire confiance en son talent, à présent le quartier de l'Ile Penotte est devenu un des lieux incontournables des Sables d'Olonne.Chaque année elle continue ses créations et restaurent celles usées par le temps.
Venez-vous balader dans ce quartier atypique des Sables d'Olonne tout au long de l'année, un musée à ciel ouvert pour tous et gratuit. Tous les Jeudis de l'été vous y retrouverez d'autres artistes qui exposent leurs œuvres à l'Ile Penotte et vous aurez peut-être la chance de rencontrer « la dame au coquillage » en pleine création.
