Kichi Zipi Innini

            The renaming of Kichi Zìbì Innini (Great River Man) was done in collaboration with members of the Kitigan Zibi First Nation, the Algonquins of Pikwàkanagàn, and federal stakeholders. The statue is now positioned to align with the convergence of the Ottawa, Gatineau and Rideau Rivers. It used to be positioned at the foot of the statue of Samuel D. Champlain
