Andrín Beach and Ballota Beach, Llanes, Asturias, Spain

            Two beaches separated by the Punta del Pandón. On the right is Andrín Beach, which is named after the small village near it. And on the left is Ballota Beach.

We had the privilege of swimming for several days at Andrín Beach, the one on the right. For a boy from the interior of the peninsula like me, these were very exciting moments, glimpsing the beauty of the Cantabrian Sea, the waves, the force of the tide.

If you look closely, you can see bathers on both beaches enjoying a magnificent day at the beach.

This photo was taken after lunch, with very intense sunlight that made the colours stand out beautifully.

If only I could be there right now...

Playas de Andrín y de Ballota, Llanes, Asturias, España

Dos playas separadas por la punta del Pandón. A la derecha la playa de Andrín, cuyo nombre se lo proporciona el pequeño pueblo cercano a la misma. Y a la izquierda la playa de Ballota.

Nosotros tuvimos el privilegio de bañarnos varios días en la playa de Andrín, la de la derecha. Para un chico de interior como soy yo, fueron momentos muy emocionantes vislumbrando la belleza del Cantábrico, el oleaje, la fuerza de la marea.

Si miras detenidamente, podrás ver bañistas en ambas playas disfrutando de un magnífico día de playa. 

Esta foto fue tomada después de comer, con una luz solar muy intensa que hacía destacar los colores con gran belleza. 

Quien pudiese estar allí ahora mismo...
