Coming straight at us! Street Art, Blender Lane, off Franklin Street, Melbourne

            By its very nature Street Art tends to be ephimeral, many of its themes are taken from what is happening at a particular time and place. This is very typical of the examples found in the lanes of Melbourne! When I was there in the summer 0f 2019-20 the dominant themes were the global interest in fighting climate change and the local devastating fires. After I left we entered the COVID 19 crisis and I'm sure the streets are full of references to the Pandemic. Consequently many of the scenes I took photos of are nolonger possible to find so many localisations are purely approximations.
The best thing to do is just enjoy the images, forms and colours of this overwhelming creativity.
