Faces EST du Rothenbachkopf et du Rainkopf

            France. Vosges. Vallée de Munster. Photo prise lors d'une rando au départ du village de Mittlach(525m), en passant par la ferme auberge du Kastelbergwasen(1166m), et la chaume du Kerbholz(1073m).

Sur la large piste qui permet d'effectuer les derniers hectomètres pour rejoindre la ferme auberge du Kastelbergwasen, on aperçoit non seulement la face EST du Rothenbachkopf(1316m)  mais aussi celle de son voisin au nord, le Rainkopf(1305m). Ils sont séparés par le Col du Rothenbach(1205m). On peut voir de nombreuses corniches de neige sur cette ligne de crête. Tout comme celle du Rothenbachkopf, la face EST du Rainkopf a des allures plus alpines que vosgiennes, surtout en période d'enneigement.
