HZ - Meja 1141 221 and 1141 308 - a photo on Flickriver

            Staying around Meja but heading a little nearer Rijeka it was time to wait for a freight at a new spot. The first train seen from this old Yugoslavian bunker (apparently used for defending the railway) was a boring ELL Vectron. With the sun angle still being ok I decided to stay as such ELL junk is about as bad as it can get in Europe. Thankfully I didn't have long to wait till a HZ Cargo pair came up the Rijeka Ramp with 1141 221 and 308 doing the honours. From my observations some trains are split into two to go up the ramp, maybe due to the harsh gradients. Here the duo haul half of a Serbian container train.
