Château de Chambord im Loiretal - a photo on Flickriver

Auf unserer Radreise 2003 von Orléans bis Nantes haben wir unter anderem die am Weg liegenden Schlößer besucht. An der Loire haben wir die Beine im Wasser baumeln lassen, an seinen Ufern mittags ein kleines Käse, Melone und Co. mit einem Becher köstlichem roten Wein zu uns genommen.
Nach unserer Radtour waren wir eine Woche in La Baule-Escoublacbevor wir mit dem Zug nach Berlin über Paris gefahren sind.
In Frankreich haben wir die rücksichtsvollsten und nettesten Autofahrer erlebt, kein Gedrängel, kein Hupen , kein dichtes Auffahren. Sie sind langsam hinter uns her gefahren, haben großen Abstand gehalten und im vorbeifahren immer das Tempo gedrosselt. Das kennen wir von unseren vielen Radreisen durch die EU zum Teil auch ganz anders.

On our cycling tour 2003 from Orléans to Nantes we visited among other things the castles along the way. At the Loire we dangled our legs in the water, had lunch on its banks and a small cheese, melon and co. with a cup of delicious red wine.
After our bike tour we spent a week in La Baule-Escoublacbebefore we took the train to Berlin via Paris.
In France we have experienced the most considerate and nice drivers, no jostling, no honking, no crowding. They drove slowly behind us, kept a large distance and always slowed down as we passed. We know this from our many bicycle tours through the EU, sometimes quite differently.

Be careful, keep your distance and wear a mask, abbreviated "AHA".

Lors de notre tour cycliste 2003 d'Orléans à Nantes, nous avons visité, entre autres, les châteaux qui se trouvaient sur le chemin. A la Loire, nous nous sommes balancés dans l'eau, avons déjeuné sur ses rives et avons mangé un petit fromage, du melon et compagnie avec une tasse de délicieux vin rouge.
Après notre tour à vélo, nous avons passé une semaine à La Baule-Escoublac avant de prendre le train pour Berlin via Paris.
En France, nous avons connu les conducteurs les plus prévenants et les plus gentils, pas de bousculade, pas de klaxon, pas de foule. Ils roulaient lentement derrière nous, gardaient une grande distance et ralentissaient toujours à notre passage. Nous le savons grâce à nos nombreux circuits à vélo à travers l'UE, parfois de manière très différente.
