Abendsonne - Evening sun - a photo on Flickriver

            Standpunkt der Aufnahme ist die Kantstraße nah bei dem Theater des Westens. Im Vordergrund eine S-Bahn die gerade in die Station Zoologischer Garten einfährt. Rechts sind Teile eines Gebäudes das zu dem Neubauprojekt "Kranzler Eck" gehört. Links andeutungsweise das Hotel Waldorf Astoria und in der Mitte  das Design Hotel Berlin Upper West am Breidtscheidplatz.

The point of view of the photo is Kantstraße near the Theatre of the West. In the foreground, an S-Bahn train is just entering the Zoologischer Garten station. On the right are parts of a building that is part of the ‘Kranzler Eck’ new-build project. The Hotel Waldorf Astoria is indicated on the left and the Design Hotel Berlin Upper West on Breidtscheidplatz in the centre.
