MMI 2020 - CHALLENGE 6, BE A PUNK - DAKOTA LAVAROCK BODY SHOT

            This week’s challenge is “Be a Punk.”  

The inspiration for my punk styling is multiple.  One inspiration is Siouxsie Sioux of the iconic punk band Siouxsie and the Banshees, one of my all-time favorite bands.  I really love her style, from her makeup to her use of fishnet.  She even wore pink sometimes, my favorite color!

I am wearing two pieces of fishnet clothing and some pink fishnet gloves.  My second inspiration is the skull shape.  I am wearing an adorable skully dress with one fishnet piece under it and another fishnet dress over it.  I also am wearing black-and-pink platform boots to match the black and pink in my dress.

To complement the dress, I am wearing skully nylons and skeleton hand accessories, plus carrying a super-cute skully handbag.  Rounding out my accessories are a choker, a spike nose piercing, plus safety pin earrings and safety pins used as septum and eyebrow piercings.  To pull it all together, I am using some amazing mesh skull nails.

My hair is much too long to actually ever wear in a mohawk, so I am wearing a custom-made leather mohawk with spikes and studs, basic punk essentials.  I have some little temple locks for the perfect punk look.

Now that I am all punked out, I am ready to party!
