My Mother Has Passed Away - a photo on Flickriver

            Last Sunday she died in her sleep, three months after her 90th birthday, when I took this picture.

She had suffered so much from her ever worsening illnesses that her death was quite right. She wanted to go. All these measures with artificial nutrition etc. in the hospital were not in her best interest.
