The Colour of Money - a photo on Flickriver

The colour scheme of these multi-coloured buildings on Wiedner Gürtel is an art project and represents the colours of the seven euro notes: from left to right, the €500 note (purple), the €200 note (yellowish-brown), the €100 note (green), the €50 note (orange), the €20 note (blue), the €10 note (red) and the €5 note (grey).

This project was initiated by the Austrian bank Erste Bank, which has its location opposite in the "Erste Campus". This is located in the Quartier Belvedere, an office quarter that was built next to the new Hauptbahnhof.
