El lirio en primavera - a photo on Flickriver

            De paseo por Leza ( Rioja Alavesa ), en una tarde abrileña,  nos encontramos este maravilloso ejemplar de lirio, junto a la tapia de una finca. Suelen crecer en zonas húmedas, mas bien orientadas al norte. 

En su mayoría crecen de forma espontánea, aunque  tambien admiten el cultivo.  Esta clase da su flor hacia la primavera, marzo-abril.

La especie de alta montaña, de hojas mas finas y pequeñas,  aunque de coloración mas viva, surge  en el verano, entre julio y agosto y  es mas natural.
