Chestnut-sided Warbler - a photo on Flickriver

            I bought my first camera to document birds that I encounter. Taking a photo requires much less time and effort than writing a description of a bird I have seen, and photos are regarded by others as more credible. I have written a book called The Fascination of Birds: From the Albatross to the Yellowthroat. I spend a lot of time out in nature, and my camera has helped me to see aspects of birds which I might not be able to observe in the field.
