The Ningaloo Coast is a World Heritage Site in the north west coastal region of Western Australia. Best known for distinctive Ningaloo Reef that fringes the  Coast, at its closest less than 500 meters off shore, thus making it ideal for snorkeling and diving.  The reef is home to a wide array of marine life, especially its whale sharks and manta rays, as well as dolphins, dugongs, turtles and migrating hump-back whales. As such it is a very popular tourist spot, with opportunities to get up close and swim with the whale sharks and manta rays, as well as guided snorkeling and diving tours.
