A forest of large-leafed orange mangrove: Explored on Aug 29, 2024

            The large-leafed orange mangrove (Bruguiera gymnorhiza) is a tall mangrove (usually 7-20 m) and distributes along tropical coasts of Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean. At Nakama River, Iriomote Island, Okinawa, Japan. 

This site is included in a World Heritage Site, "Amami-Oshima Island, Tokunoshima Island, Northern Part of Okinawa Island and Iriomote Island".
