An island with shrines shortly after sunset: Explored on Sept 24, 2024

            Takeshima Island, Gamagori, Aichi, Japan. The island has shrines at the top. A walking bridge connects the island with the city area of Gamagori.  A torii, a gate to the area of shrines, is at the entrance of the island. 

The island is in the Mikawa Bay, a part of the Ise Bay facing the Pacific Ocean. 

The photo was taken during dinner at Gamagori Classic Hotel.
