A wild Okinawa rail: an endangered species: Explored on April 21, 2021

            An Okinawa rail (Hypotaenidia okinawae) was searching for foods in Yanbaru Forest, Okinawa, Japan.

The Okinawa rail is endemic to Okinawa and is endangered. The bird is almost flightless but can run rapidly.
