Two Up & Two Down - a photo on Flickriver

Two Up & Two Down

            Not the best bit of photo processing , but it is not every day the two Spitfires fly overhead . I heard a plane go over , checked on Flightradar24 and it was the chase plane from Biggin Hill which normally means a Spitfire could be around . When I looked again I could see two Spitfires heading our way  ! Grab camera and sure enough the sound of distant Merlins could be heard . One flew past to the North before the other flew past to the South , I got a couple of shots of each but the low grey cloud and murky conditions plus they were further away than I expected so the results were pretty poor . Not to waste them I have used the shots in this little scene below presented in B&W - the base shot being a scene from my Spitfire flight day .
The other aeroplane on the ground is a North American T-6 Texan
