View Over The Graveyard - a photo on Flickriver

                            Looking back across the gravestones at Leatherhead Parish Church , St. Mary's & St. Nicolas . A view well known but in reverse - seeing the churchyard from the bedroom window of the house in the centre of the  photograph as it was my grandparents place .    
  Back in my surveying days I spent a weekend surveying the churchyard and preparing a plan - nothing too involved , just the boundaries , the church outline , the pathways and some of the major trees  including the two Yew tree tunnels . I have no idea if it still survives to this day or how much use it was .
