Old veteran with new containers on daily service

            4 train pairs run daily from Landquart to Ilanz, where one of the major Swiss mineral water bottlers ships its goods by rail. As the line is mostly flat, the old Lady Ge 4/4 I can also be used with these trains. The locomotive 610 was built in 1953 (67 years ago!) and since then it is in daily service on the RhB network. Officially decommissioned a few years ago, the 4 remaining locomotives form a hidden reserve and are used regularly. So also in the evening of June 2nd with train 5757 from Landquart to Ilanz and back. The train also consists of 7 container wagons loaded with 14 new transport containers for the Valser company.
