In December 1946 Moores Buses extended their service in the South Hurstville region of Sydney when Archie acquired Cliff Mallam’s Route 106 Hurstville to Connells Point and Kyle Bay service. Operatin under the name A. J. Moore until it was absorbed into Harris Park Transport.
The A Moore’s Bus depot on the corner of Connells Point Road and Mimosa Street, South Hurstville, was the depot for the Connells Point services for more than 60 years closing when in 2005 the NSW Government awarded Punchbowl Bus Company the routes that were previously operated by A. Moores. (Being route 953, 954 & 955.)
