            M59403/503/603M (British Railways, allocated to Reddish TMD).
xxxx : 1413 Hadfield - Manchester Piccadilly, which was formed of three coaches.
Ashburys - 1455 - 07/12/84 (lucky it was stopped in those pre-digital days!).

December 7th 1984 was the last day in service (a fact that must have eluded me at the time, as it was the only photo of them I took that day!), for these Class 506 (Manchester-Glossop-Hadfield) units, which dated back to the 1950's & operated on the Woodhead route voltage of 1,500DC.
