060708_093444_0914 Foot And Other Prints On The River Bank (Sat 08 Jul 06)

There was a river near where I landed the Orion when we arrived at Cattai National Park. Which river? Ask me again in the next image, but probably the Hawkesbury itself.

I took a stroll over to the edge of the river. There was a slight ledge of land dropping down to the river bank; the drop was maybe a metre, maybe a metre and a half. I stood at the top of that ledge and looked down.

"Hmm, human shoe prints. Not from up here, I think; it's not a huge drop but it would leave a decent sized dent in the sand if you tried it. Also... they seem to be coming OUT of the water then going back in. Someone in a boat, maybe probably? And either they left some arrows pointing into the river... or those aren't FOOT prints."

I did see some ducks in the river. Duck prints, maybe? Hmm. Perhaps not a mystery as such, but certainly a curiosity.
