°Athgreany Stone Circle - a photo on Flickriver

            Der Athgreany Stone Circle auch Pipers Stones ist ein bronzezeitlicher Steinkreis auf einem niedrigen Hügel. Ein berühmter zweigriffeliger Weißdorn (Crataegus oxyacantha) steht am Rand der Piper Stones. Es wird angenommen, dass jemand erfolglos versucht hat, den Kreis zu entfernen, und dabei die Platzierung der Steine gestört hat. Jetzt besteht die Stätte aus 16 Granitfelsen, von denen 5 an ihren ursprünglichen Stellen stehen, ursprünglich sollen es 29 Steine gewesen sein.
