AT&SF Mainline Action on North Diana Street, Fresno, CA

            A spring storm is clearing as the sun settles into the western sky and a Santa Fe carded freight with four GP-35s heads north through downtown Fresno.  The mainline ran squarely down the middle of Diana Street and made for an interesting juxtaposition of urban living and railroading.  A group of car gear-heads on the opposite side of the street were making fun of a fellow gear-head, just one interest in trains instead of cars, or maybe it was just my 1962 Opel Reliant, that was the focus of their scorn.
