P87 at Jarretts Tunnel - a photo on Flickriver

            NS P87 makes the return trip to Asheville up the Southern Loops as it passes through Jarretts Tunnel. With the Evergreen Packaging Company in Canton set to close within the next 2 months at the time of this scene, P87 became a priority for me to document. I was lucky in that P87, the local that runs to the Bridgewater Chip Mill that serves Evergreen & the only guarantee move over the Southern Loops, was set to make its final run the following Thursday. Another case of get out & document because you never know when you may get lucky with timing. 4-25-23
