My 1st flickr image, re-imagined - a photo on Flickriver

            The morning I was out taking this picture I also took a horizontal version of this scene. I recently got a nice comment on that photo (thanks Eje_b!) which made me look at my original edit and I must admit I cringed just a little bit. Not that my editing skills were bad back then - crank up the clarity, add a heavy vignette, cool the image and (strangely) avoid the spot healing brush were, it seems, my go-to edits back then - but I'd do things slightly different nowadays lol. 

So I headed back in time in my Lightroom catalogue and gave my very first Flickr upload a "modern day me" make-over. Don't get me wrong I still like my first ever Flickr image (well maybe not that vignette!) but I hope I've grown a little in my knowledge and style of editing. For comparison I've included my first Flickr image below in the comments. I flipped the image around as I feel it leads nicer from the bottom left instead of the bottom right. Also I kind of like the square crop more but that might change in the coming years lol. Finally instead of the steely blue feel I've gone more pastel in the colours.
