A plume of gold. Burnham Beeches, Buckinghamshire.

            Three or four times on this quite long visit to the woodlands, as I was getting tired, I thought 'Shall I explore down there, can I be bothered?' and at the last minute changed my mind and made the effort. 
And each time was rewarded with some of the best shots of the day.
