Blessralle / Black Coot - a photo on Flickriver

            Das Blässhuhn sieht unspektakulär aus und man meint das es mit fliegen nicht viel am Hut hat. Es ist aber von Irland bis Neuseeland verbreitet und das hätte es wohl kaum nur mit schwimmen geschafft. :-)
Um das Bild besonders detailreich sehen zu können, drückt die Tasten l (kleines L) und F11. Beim vergrößern nur durch Anklicken gehen viele Details verloren. 

The Black Coot does in no way look special. Watching it one also could get the impression it does not like flying. However you can find them from Ireland to New Zealand and I doubt this was possible by swimming only. :-)
To view the picture with the best resolution press the "l" (small L)  and F11 keys. When enlarging the pic by just mouse clicking you lose quality. Enjoy!
